I like to sew. My most valuable life skill right now, though? Keeping kids entertained in parking lot waiting rooms for never ending doctor appointments. #truestory

There is so much in kids’ lives that they have no control over. Especially right now! Teaching them simple skills like mending (or even how to cook an egg!) can give these little ones a sense of agency back again. The smile after this kiddo fixed a patch he had previously sewn is priceless. He was able to tackle a problem almost completely on his own and it left him feeling 💪🤩❤️.
